Youth Convention and Easter 2007

This year we made a QUICK trip to Bakersfield for Youth Convention...We left at 5:00 am Monday morning, got to the hotel and started Bible Quizzing. I was able to take the kids Monday night to church but Phillip was in quizzing until 6:30 so he didn't come with me.

Tuesday morning I woke up and decided to take the kids and drive up to Fresno for a couple of hours to see my parents.
I got there around 1:00 in the afternoon and had to leave by 5:30. I got back to the Convention Center around 7:00..we went to church for about an hour until they did a Bible Quizzing Promo..and then we drove home...it was a VERY QUICK trip!

Easter seems to have come and gone so VERY quickly also. Friday night we took Logan over to his friends, Zachary and Ian's house, and they colored Easter Eggs and did a Easter Egg Hunt.

Patrick and Holly, our WONDERFULEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD, :) let us come and crash their house and they did a fabulous job with BBQ chicken, salad, and all kinds of other yummy WEIGHT WATCHER FRIENDLY food.

Easter Sunday morning we woke Logan up early and gave him his Easter basket.

This year I was a little bit smatter and built my own basket for him...not too much chocolate that way! =) We went to church that morning and had an AWESOME, WONDERFUL, UNBELIEVABLE move of God with Bro Cody Marks! The man is unbelievable! And we LOOVE his wonderful wife, Amanda and Caden and Baby Kye!!

Sunday afternoon we all had lunch together and then came home and did another Easter Egg Hunt with Logan and his colored eggs. He had a blast.

Sunday night was back to church and another WONDERFUL, AWESOME service!! All in all we had around 520 at our church Easter Sunday! THANK YOU GOD!!!
And as Bro Booker always says, "He's Just Getting Started!!"

It is so good to hear about the great things happening in Rialto. A LOT of "blood, sweat and tears" went into that church from my Dad. It's just awesome to know the work of God is continuing and that a wonderful church is established there!!
